Meera Varma, MPH, MSW, is a Mental Health Activist and TEDx speaker with 10+ years of experience working with federal, private, and non-profit entities. She is dedicated to reducing the rates of suicide through health policy implementations and facilitating conversations on an interpersonal level.
Meera's activism has brought her to work with influential figures including Oprah, President Biden, Dr. Jill Biden, Vice President Harris, Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy, Shawn Mendes, and Selena Gomez.
Meera is a triple Bruin – she received her Master's in Public Health, Master's in Social Welfare, and B.A. in Psychology from UCLA. Her areas of concentration are health policy and addressing mental health across the lifespan.
